The Provost, Prof. Faruk Rashid Haruna, on the 23rd July, 2019 commissioned Modern Leisure Park constructed by the S. U.G. Executives of 2018/2019 Academic Session. The Commissioning Ceremony was witnessed by the Management Members Dr. Saidu Yahaya Ubandoma (Deputy Provost), Barr. (Mrs) Aisha Y. Bukar (Registrar), Alh. Haruna Kumbashi (Bursar), Mal. Samaila B. Moh’d (Librarian), Engr. A. O. Alao (Director of Works), Dr. (Mrs) Akpokiere U. R. (Chairman, Committee of Deans and other Deans.

Commending the effort of the S. U. G. Executives, the Provost remarked that the responsibility of moving the College forward does not only rest on the Management and Government alone, it rest on every individual. He therefore thanked the S. U. G. for this initiative and assured them that the College Management would continue to support the students in providing a conducive and enabling environment to achieve their goals. He further called on the students to lend their support to their SUG Executives and to be of good bahaviour.

In his address, the S. U. G. President, Comrade Mohammed Bello Ndagi stated that the project was fully executed by the NCE SUG Exco 2018/2019 set without any assistance from any quarter. He thanked the Provost and his Management Team for their cooperation and understanding by listening to the demands and providing solutions to the students problems.

The Zonal Manager remarked that NIPOST also has other facilities that could be beneficial to the College such as commemoration stamp for monument, Q.O.D. facility as well as waybill to convey staff goods from one region to the other. Other facilities include: Remittance for Students payment, Credit facility, Track and Trace and so on. He noted that, NIPOST is poised to provide better service to the entire country.

The Zonal Manager NIPOST, Abuja Territory, Mallam Abubakar Usman in company of other top officials of NIPOST has commended the College for implementing the new Stamp Act Duty. The commendation was made during a courtesy visit to the College on the 9th of September, 2019.

In his response, the Provost, Prof. Faruk Rashid Haruna, who was represented by the Deputy Provost, Dr. Saidu Yahaya Ubandoma appreciated the officials for acknowledging the effort of the College in the implementation of the Stamp Duty Act. He assured the officials of the College readiness to support any government policy that would bring development to the country. He stated that the College value the collaboration and relationship with NIPOST and hoped to maintain the relationship.

This is to inform the College community that the First Semester 2018/2019 Academic Session Examination Results are now officially released.
